OUR MISSION
Our mission is to democratize the installation of solar photovoltaic systems across Barbados. Solar photovoltaic installations can now be purchased by everyone through our innovative digital solar asset platform. By doing this we create an inclusive business opportunity that moves our country towards being powered 100% by renewable energy. We want to provide that opportunity for every citizen to own their own solar PV system and to benefit equally from this green initiative.
Over $5 million invested in solar installations and 4 Megawatts of power deployed to date of which we have sold over 10 million kWh back to the grid since 2016.
40 Megawatts of potential solar installation capacity and of this we have committed to install 5.6 Megawatts by the end of 2025.
1 million square feet of roof space earmarked for development with future roof license agreements being sourced for additional capacity.

VIEW MOREOUR HISTORY
2016
Our first solar projects were commissioned and operational at the island's largest poultry processing facilities - Chickmont Foods Ltd. The total size of these projects ranged from 65kWp to 172kWp. For a total installed capacity of 237kWp.
2017
A further 261 kWp was installed across several of Chickmont's poultry houses across Barbados. Each of these houses ranged in size from 10,000 sq. ft. to 20,000 sq. ft.
2018
Small installations of under 100 kWp were installed on additional farm roofs.
2019
The purchase of a 400 kWp plant was executed and became operational in the same year. This was the largest installation to date on any farm in Barbados. This was also the year that the government mandated a Feed in Tariff rate for the solar sector.
2020
CloudSolar was envisioned and created to serve the need of facilitating investments in the solar industry with its online digital platform. We also purchased a 1.28MW solar plant facility, our largest rooftop installation covering 90,000 sq. ft., which will be completed by the end of the year.

Our team makes up the Caribbean's 1st digital green energy company located in Barbados. Our core solar business has been operating since 2016, and with technology as the backbone, we have recently launched our innovative digital solar asset platform in 2020. We facilitate and broker our customers' investments in the solar industry with the vision and mission of creating a 100% renewable energy mix for our country.
